bagal maxman That label covers part of the cover. And invariably trying to remove it results in either tearing the page or pulling the ink off the surface. Put me down on the rubber strip material side of the discussion. I don't quite understand this. Mine comes in a clear plastic bag with the address on a separate sheet in the bag. Bagal

They do this if you are overseas (or have been in the past) to protect the magazine. There may also be certain areas in the U.S. where this is needed as well.
Paul
Choops I prefer to remove it but not the end of the world.
Maybe not for you, but a major annoyance to me. That label covers part of the cover. And invariably trying to remove it results in either tearing the page or pulling the ink off the surface. Put me down on the rubber strip material side of the discussion.
tommymrFor whatever reason, mine has changed. I liked to remove it as well, but with the last several issues, was unable to.
Seems that there may be different printers. Mine has changed back and forth a few times from full sticker to removeable glue strips. I prefer to remove it but not the end of the world.

tommymr ...as the address label is larger and sticky all over, instead of just two strips of 'rubbery' glue.
hon30critter Mine arrived Friday and I'm in Canada so yours must be arriving soon. Interestingly, in the same mail shipment, I got a copy of the NMRA magazine. Bonus, since I don't subscribe to it. I am a member of the NMRA but I opted out of the magazine. Dave

There are NMRA Canada postions up for election. Every member receives an issue if they have to vote in their district (method of ballot distribution and advertisement for magazine).
Mar 2017 MR arrived yesterday or Friday, not sure because I was on night shift and I cant remember if I checked the mail Friday morning.
I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
Nope you should be getting it shortly. Got mine Thursday.
I had to snicker at the lead article and the editorial at the beginning. Everything not to do, and yet...I have most of them and the historical photos to prove it.
Mine used to come about 3 days before the end of the month, Now it comes a couple days into the new month. Wonder if they changed mailing vendors, (like they farmed out customer service), as the address label is larger and sticky all over, instead of just two strips of 'rubbery' glue.
woodmanHas anyone received the March issue of Model Railroader, I have not received the issue as of yet, is it too soon?
You will get yours before me as you are in PA and I am in Maine; should be any day now.
George In Midcoast Maine, 'bout halfway up the Rockland branch
I get my issue in 2 weeks after Neil's shows the inside magazine video on their website.
Amtrak America, 1971-Present.
The digital edition is out this week. The paper edition usually follows a few days to a week or so later.
