ACRR46 By the way, will you be hosting a Kalmbach employee layout tour this year?
By the way, will you be hosting a Kalmbach employee layout tour this year?
Not until a few more employees build layouts for us to tour.

Steve, I have been a subscriber for almost 40 years and the MR&T is one of my favorite layouts along with the N scale Clnchfield, and the Beer Line.
Steven Otte Keep an eye out for our 1,000th issue in April. That special, expanded issue will include an article by Boomer Pete, Jr., all about the MR&T.

Sounds great, thanks!

Thanks! I will see about a subscription, I bet it'll come in handy
There is a video here, you may need a subscription to MRVP, which I recommend.

The description with the track plan said it replaced an older layout. I was AWOL during the same period.

Since I missed out on so many articles during the 80s and early 90s, could someone give some info on the Milwaukee Racine & Troy? I'd like to know the "history" of this freelanced railroad. Is it a small Class 1 or regional carrier? Is there a list of motive power for it? Has there ever been a good description (maybe even a map) of the route? Lastly: what are some essential back issues I should look for to learn about the MR&T?
Thanks!
