Watched a TV program today, 50 Plus Prime, a collection of stories concerning people over 50, their hobbies & other activities.
Today's episode featured for a few minutes model railroad club members and their interests in the club. Mainly older men, a wife and a young lady. The young lady was interested in the crafty side of model railroading creating buildings, cars and scenery. The wife wasn't interested at first, but the hubby cajoled her into the club. She started by creating buildings and some scenery eventually becoming club secretary. During the show, some members & features of the club layout were shown.
