Probably yes but they seemed to imply that what happened to me was fairly common and it was not a big deal so I did not think to ask. The website says not to call to check on repair status as they are a small company.

Anyway I will give it a month it will give me time to work on scenicking the SIW.

there website states the turn around time is about 4 weeks from time of receiving the item. I have used it twice one time it was 4 weeks exactly and once less than three. Good luck on the shorter time

I sent them a decoder and $10 check for no questions asked replacement on Aug 29th.  They didn't cash the check till Oct 4th and then returned a new decoder.

NCE customer service

I managed to break the power conector on the UTP panel of my powercab and called NCE who said send it back for repair.  So I did and it arrived at NCE last tuesday.  Anyone have any experience with their service department and what the turnaround time might be?

Meanwhile the SIW is running one loco at a time on DC.
