I run my layout both dcc and DC with a tech 6 without any problems.
But today I decided to run my new to me Athearn veranda turbine that is dcc ready. Now I use the tech 6 along with the handheld. It would only run at top speed with almost no control and when it slowed down the tech 6 would act like it was shorting out.
Now after thinking about it for awhile I decided to unhook the handheld, now it runs perfectly. Tested another DC engine and the handheld works as it should. Never had this happen before, is it something in the turbine that caused it?
Anybody else ever see this?
