Show me some Alco Centuries!

Just to keep things rolling...

Here's a Century 636 teamed up with an ex-EL SDP45 and an old PC geep working up a stiff grade...

Show me a heavy ore or coal drag...

Show me some more GP9s, please.

A Nickel Plate GP9 idles on the left as No. 6 departs. Soon the geep will pull the diner off No.5 that just arrived on the right and take it to the commissary service track for re-stocking.

Show me a GP15, 18, 20, 28 or 30.

This is what Atheran called a GP-7, but folks say it really is a GP-9. Modeled from a 1980 photo of GP-7 BM1715, in a simlpified bicentennial paint scheme

Show me any EMD GP loco

George, sorry to say but you got it backwards, Athearn sold it as a GP9 but it was actually a GP7 based on the louvers.

Here are a few of my Genesis NKP GP9's

This is the only Chessie System car I own, although I have a number of B&O, C&O and WM Cars.

Trains and livestock, can't see this right now as this portion of the club layout has been removed to facilitate rebuilding the block wall behind the farm location. When the contractor excavated he found the drain tile that was originally installed for the foundation was not done correctly and broken in various places, so they are replacing that also which will hopefully take care of the water problems we have been having over the past few years.

Show me something with Chessie System.

Chessie looks like he's ready to pounce on something! I'll have to find the photo of my former layout "helper" and get it posted.

For now, here's my other Chessie. A 1.6" scale, 7-1/2" gauge GP50 on the day of delivery.

...and out on the main:

Show me something from the Chessie System or former roads.

My #1 railfan.  My first cat Chessie (named after Chessie System) used to love to curl up on the basement stairs to watch me and the trains.  Hard to believe it's been six years now since I lost him.

Show me something with Chessie System.
