I have collected quite a number of excess old model railroad magazines by trying to complete my collection through e-bay. Does anyone know where i can go to see if anyone wants to trade magazines that they have excess of for ones that i need? There must be someplace i can go to do this short of listing them on e-bay.

Check out http://www.nsmrc.org/clubcollections.html This is the Northshore Model Railroad club. They buy and sell used magazines but don't mention trades. I have purchased back issues from them in the past and their prices were reasonable.

WHAT???...I just threw out 8 big bundles of MRR,RMC,MM Etc.I very rarely refered to them because they usually didn't apply to my upgraded RR[DCC, etc.]I've just held on to anything after 2000.

Yikes!!!
Yes indeed, people do collect, refer to and trade old magazines...they typically don't sell for very much, but there is demand for them, even the old ones (I find some amazing nuggets of ideas in 1940's/50's issues of MR!)

They may be old, but often they're goodies.
