I would like every single dictator and terrorist in the world to drop dead at the stroke of midnight on New Years Eve. I would like the problem of world hunger to be resolved in the coming year. I would like racism to end. I wish for politicians to become completely honest in all their dealings. Granted these wishes, I can handle the rest of what I might want for Christmas.

Hmmmmm....

Well, I have a loco list of what I'd like: (N Scale) here's what's at the top...

Bachmann Spectrum 4-8-2 Southern
Kato AC4400 CP 2 Flags
Kato PA1s D&H
A slew of TCS decoders, a Digitrax DT400R, and about 7 Digitrax PnP decoders.
There's an assortment of quality tools I'd like.

Most of all, I'd like a place to call my own, where I can build a layout, put my workshop back into action, lay my head down at night, and cook up a storm when the fancy takes me.

My wish list? More time to work on my model railroad - and maybe more space for it too. But I also want more time to spend with the baby (he's only one year old, so working together on the layout is not yet an option), and with my wife. Some way to have an income without spending 40 hours a week pursuing it would be great!

But peace on earth, good health for family and friends, and a different job would come first....

Oh, you mean stuff for my model railroad? How about a dozen assorted Peco switches, a Proto 2000 S4 switcher painted for the Dominion Atlantic, and some building for my townsite?

Mom's gone now but I'm still hoping for Peace on Earth. Maybe this year. We can only hope.

I can't agree more on the fact that being healthy, free of threats and eating three meals a day is what really counts. Most of us are very lucky people as we can afford having a hobby,to different degrees I may say,but still it means that we have the essential to start with. Many don't even have this minimum.

My lady told me that she wouldn't buy me train stuff this year as she says I already have enough....true?...strategy?...well,she's right when she says I spent a lot on train stuff this year so I better not count too much on this. But what if good ol' Santa decided to ignore her saying and surprise me?An "N" scale SD90/43MAC,AC4400CW or a Dash9 in either UP or CP colors would certainly make opening the package a nice endeavor...I don't want to think of it.........

Could the title be translated to "what am I getting myself for Christmas but pretending someone else got it for me" it's the oldest trick in the book and saves me taking it back for what I really want, anyway, what does my cousin in Minot know what I need? JOY ! !

I wish for everyone to have a great safe and healthy holiday season. As for me I would like the same thing I wanted the last few years. Bags of trees from Woodland Scenics. The 42 count bags. That will keep me occipied for a while.

Happy Holidays and Peace on Earth.

#1. To be healthy again.

#2. To come into a large some of money somehow.

#3. A Trix Big Boy.

All of these are pretty far fetched.

My statement about hoping the war would end had no political undercurrents, whatsoever. It was a wi***hat all sides could determine a way to put a peaceful end to the sensless death and slaughter which occures in every war! Only someone whom has never been in a war or is unable to imagine the horror which occures, doesn't hate war!

I don't really have a wish list just for Christmas. I wish all year long & use the Walthers 2005 catalog to write things down. Then when I get the spare money I buy what I need at the time. My wife & I haven't bought anything to give each other for quite a few years & that will probably never change. We both buy our own Christmas presents.
That way we never have to take anything back for exchange.
