McDonald's

Just letting everyone know who is going or live in Southern California that there is this cool McDonald's in Buena Park, right by Knott's berry farm. Has anyone been there? The sign outside is actually a steam-water tower, and inside there is train pictures on the wall, with train themed items in some places. In the center of the dining room, there is a large model railroad with lots of detail in scences. And on the celling, there are several diesel, steam, and trolley model trains[:)]

Wow! Something actually good to say about McDonald's for a change. That's pretty cool! Well, if I should ever find myself in the Buena Park area sometime (not likely in the near future), I might have to go and check it out....then eat lunch somewhere ELSE!....[:)]

The McDonald's in Comstock Park, Michigan at the West River Drive exit off of US-131 has the same thing. This exit is on the north side of Grand Rapids, just north of the I-96 / US -131 interchange.

Now that's a wee bit closer to MY neck of the woods. I may have to check that out. Thanks, Eric!

They do tend to get derailed sometimes and the employees never seem to rerail them. To get the trains going there is a button that has to be pressed.
