I bought a hardly used Sony Handycam HDR-CX 405 for very little money off the fleabay and it´s a nice and easy to use little camera for the occasional shoot. It´s low light capabilities are somewhat limited, which shows through the rather jerky movement of the train. I hope proper layout lighting will bring improvement.

Looks pretty good to me, Kevin! Yes What model is it?

I'm on my sixth Sony Camcorder, I've had everythiong from the VX-2100 to my present little CX110. Love 'em all. Sony is the clear winner for me in video. With still cameras I'm a Canon fan.

Nice Vid, I'm a pushover for long passenger trains and especially ones pulled by SDP-40Fs!

Have Fun!

One of the camera tests of my new Sony Handycam.  Basically played around with it while running trains, waiting on the wash, and watching "CHiPs".
