Has anyone purchased one of the new N scale Kato P42 passenger engines. I just bought a few, and they are just excellent! (They're Kato units, what else!) What a great addition to modern era passenger fleets. I have 3, and they all run very well together, extremely smooth at start up and good scale speed, a typical Kato. I can run all of the 3 in a consist and switch any engine to the front, or middle, since they all run at very similar speeds. I bought a 2pack and a single unit. I won't retire my Life-Like F40s yet, but it looks like I'll be running just the F40 dummy behind a pair of P42 engines for a little while! Anyone looking to get one, you won't be sorry!
