It´s a nice and inexpensive way to monitor a hidden storage yard, but that´s all the benfit I see in this.

yeah, there really is no point to it.  Its just one of thise really random/interesting things that you stumble over while digging through random back water fourms.

I really do not see any advantage with this. It is nice to see a hidden area, but I would just want to view/run it 'live'. Maybe as part of several 'remote' layouts?
A nice display of available technology for the 'tech nerds' in us....

I guess its not so much controlled as initiated.  Still thought someone would think it cool, even with the crap frame rate and slow camera response.
