HA! I'm off to a head start. I have four giant sequoia's in the back yard. They are all about the same height. This one was a seedling in 2001. People say that they are going to be a nightmare to remove someday. I HOPE SO! That will be my legacy.
Can't wait to be doin this in the old back yard.

Seems the annual April issue hijinks haven't been discussed yet, although I see they are online under News & Reviews in the black menu bar at the top of this page in most browsers.
Who would've thought that such a kit could come out? Amazing. I suspect we'll be seeing an Old Timer's Special Edition that will include sequoia seeds for the hobbyiest who likes to really sock away a long term collection of kits for future planning purposes. Seed Scale Models indicates that it will provide enough lumber to build a roundhouse, plus benchwork for a 20'x40' double-deck layout it will be the centerpiece of.
Their builder of display models indicates he anticipates completion of his example kit about the year 3365....
