Where to get graffiti decals ?

The 2005 Walther's Catalogue has several pages of grafitti decals advertised/available.

I use gel pens and they work great, but I find certain inks never set properly over certain paints or plastics. When this happens I find a coat of clear flat over the gel pen ink fixes it right up.

Actually, you are onto something here ! Gel pens, of course !
Now I can't draw myself, but my wife draws pretty well, so I'll have her give it a try :)

Besides Blair Line's, Scale Rail Graphics has some, and there's an outfit that had an ad in the back of one of the recent model RR mags (MRR or RMC, I forget which) called SSW Productions that makes a sheet of decals.

Microscale also has three sets of decals, and you could do a search on eBay, as there are usually decals for sale there.

Champ did make some excellent decals for grafitti,but with Rich closing the
business,and selling only what's in stock I really don't know.

why not make your own grafitti using those gel pens. You can get a 10 pack mixed colors for about $5.00 at rite-aid or office max. I use those and I have been very pleased with the results. Another good thing about the pens is you dont see the decal film.

Blairline makes some good,detailed grafitti decals. I have a set thought I never applied them to my freight cars yet.

Have you searched through the "Great Decals" website? While they have their own product line, the biggest benefit of the site is all the links to basically every decal manufacturer in the hobby. Oddball Decals (included as a link) has lots of modern grafitti decals. Both Walthers and Champ have steam-era grafitti, and Westerfield and Sunshine both make chalk marks for steam-era cars.

And with an inkjet printer and the decal kit from Testors, it's pretty easy to make your own grafitti decals these days!
