For most purposes, using the terminals marked A and U will be fine. If you need slower voltage, and finer slow speed control, you can use B and U(A-U provides 6-16 volts, and B-U I think about 5-12). In both instances, U should be connected to the outer rails(terminal 2 on the lockon, I think), and the other one should be connected to the center rail(terminal 1, I think). With this setup, I believe that a connection between terminals C and U will give you 14 fixed volts for use with accesories.

Hope that this helps!

... i'm a novice and just purchased a used Lionel Type 1033 90-Watts Tranformer that came without instruction. I need to reassure that i'm making the right connections to a 3-rail O-Gauge So, just give it to me in layman's term so i'll know exactly where to wires go.
