All helpful comments! I wouldve liked a quieter environment, but this was a giant meet on a private layout, meaning that it was impossible to find a quieter area. Adressing locomotive speed, those weren't mine, and though I would've liked momentum, I wasn't able to do so. They also ran much faster than other locomotives for some reason, and I'm sure that has to do with programming. Thanks!

I agree, Dan, although that is a nice switching video. Also, assuming these are "high end" locomotives (Atlas, Kato, BLI, etc), they could have been run at closer to prototypical speeds and pauses between moves; just a constructive comment. I do realize that this was probably in a club or get-together setting and that there are many distractions in that setting, not to mention possible time contraints. All in all, a very nice video, however.
Nice Alcos in the action there, and is that an FM also?
A friendly suggestion, it was pretty noisy in the background. Perhaps a quieter setting would be more pleasant. Dan
`ere you go, mate!
Just wanted to share a video of some switching operations I did a while back on Jeff Otto's layout. This is more or less from a railfan's point of view.
