I modified a Rix switchstand for a single W/S turnout driven by a Tortoise.  I figured it could handle a slow motion machine.  I don't think it would work with a sprung Peco turnout and machine, though.

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.

Mark, did you ever successfully mount a Rix switxh stand on a Peco turnout? It seems that the Peco throwbars are too narrow to accept the Rix connector.

Mark, are your Peco turnouts powered or do you throw them manually?  If powered, what is your motor?

Try these.

I made a couple and they work great, though I did not use them with Peco switch motors though I did use them with Peco turnouts. I will also be trying the Rix operating switch stands.

Tophias

I am assuming the power of the twin coil Peco machine is too severe, but I don't want to make that assumption.

Good question!  Now I'm wondering, too.

As a specific follow up question to an earlier post, does anyone have experience with any switch stands with targets that would work with Peco turnouts powered by Peco motors?  I am assuming the power of the twin coil Peco machine is too severe, but I don't want to make that assumption.  Thnx all.
