Yes, thats the problem with being older, too many songs rolling around in my head - title is a phrase from an old Creedence Clearwater Revival song Proud Mary.  hah hah.

For powered wheels, use a piece of track and connect it to your power pack, and wet a towel with alcohol and runt he loco over the towel and hold it while the wheels spin. For non powered wheels, use something like a q tip soaked in alcohol and turn one wheel by hand while cleaning the other on the same axle.

Hello,

Thanks for the help on my last question. AHM FM diesel is running fine now.

Now, what is the best way to manually turn the wheels on locomotives in order to clean them and could I use alcohol to clean them?
