Posted by Hawks05 on Thursday, November 25, 2004 11:45 PM
what's the website that is used to design paint schemes for freelanced railroads. i want to figure out a paint scheme for what will be my freelanced railroad. i've seen a few people that have shown pictures of possible schemes. the Allentown and Scranton is one that comes to mind. what site is used for this?

Thanks

paintshop.railfan.net

Beware, it is addictive!

This is the correct address:

http://paintshop.railfan.net/

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.

Also try Michael Eby's Trainiax site. IMHO, his loco and rolling stock drawings are better than the ones on the RR paintshop. Go to yahoo and search "trainiax".

Yes, all you do is copy and paste into MS Paint. But make sure to give credit to the artist for his work!

I prefer Michael Eby's site over Paintshop. He has more drawings and it is always being updated- http://trainiax.0catch.com/mescaleloco.htm
