I purchased an Undec BLI NW2 and have successfully and carefully removed the body shell for painting. The prototype unit I am modeling (Mopac in Jenks Blue) has the sill, walkways, fuel tank, and trucks also painted Jenks Blue just like the body. I have removed the trucks, but how does one paint the other areas? Brush only, mask and airbrush....?

Generally, sprayed-on finishes look better than brushed-on. No brush marks. So, again generally, you want to spray as much of your model as you can. And then perhaps touch up with a brush.
Of course, when you spray, you will have to mask. Generally. And you won't with brushing. So there is more prep work with spraying.
If you haven't done a lot of spraying before, PRACTICE!!! You want to develop a bit of expertise before spraying sticky non-removable goo onto an important piece. With spraying, there can be all kinds of surface problems that you don't want to have.
If you are feeling intimidated by spraying, brushing MIGHT work. There are colors and brands that can brush on beautifully (the original Floquil Grimy Black comes to mind). Your Jenks Blue might be one. Luck happens. Try it out on some scrap.
