Display of Jock Oliphant Structures
Posted by JDL56 on Saturday, November 14, 2015 7:42 PM

Oldtimers will recall the name Jock Oliphant, Canada's first MMR (#15) and the only person to win best in show at the NMRA national convention three years in a row. Jock died in 2000; his family has donated some of his structures to the Winnipeg Railway Museum where they are now on display.

Thanks for the post. I, too, am a Winnipeg resident but the club doesn't have wheelchair access so I won't be able to see these great models.

Hmmmmm, I wonder if they could display them on my layout?????
