Show me a consist that features locomotives from three builders.

The New York central liked to run a mixed-bag of equipment in the later years...

In the above shot we have EMD, F-M and Alco represented.

And here we have a fourth builder, Baldwin, making the scene!

Show me another Fairbanks-Morse locomotive.

Here are a couple of Indiana Harbor swithers pulling some empty gondolas through South Chicago on my Calumet and South Chicago RR in 1965.  The mill in the background  needs a lot more window cut outs!

Hello George,

As a former Forest Engineer, I would suggest that many of those logs go to the saw mill instead. Wink

Here is a load from Acme Wires & Cables.

Please, show me your favorite switcher.

A few days ago, I finished a coaling station for the narrow gauge servicing area on the Boothbay Railway Village layout. The original was 30' tall, too big for narrow gauge, I cut it down by 5 ft

Thanks, Guy. I appreciate the compliment. Just one more aspect of this hobby that I enjoy very much.

And I'm inspired by Grampys Trains work! It's great that threads like these let us showcase the nice work by everyone involved.

Good day to you all, Ed

Welcome to November 2015 Show Me Something!

Here is a link to the October thread:

http://cs.trains.com/mrr/f/88/t/250732.aspx

The last request was for some Fall Color of which I don't have any photos of but since the Northern Hemisphere is experiencing shorter hours of daylight here is an evening view of a Pennsy helper drifting downgrade to its next assignment...

Show me another night time photo.
