I tried that (100% or actual size) but it was still off. I have experimented with several drawings and have come to the conclusion that sometimes you need to use 110% to get accurate results. Too bad there wasn't a more accurate way to scan and display the pages but I am thankful we have access to the drawings. In my opinion many things have changed on the modeling scene since the 30s 40s and 50s but a scale drawing is timeless and useful forever.

CHECK your printer settings. Do not use "Print to Fit" but rather use 100% or "Actual Size". Or it may be that the archive itself is reduced by that percentage, in which case what you are doing is what has to be done.

I'd arrived at 109% too.

I may have answered my own question. Through experimentation I find 109% works. I have not tested this extensively but ask if others have the same experience.

Printing Drawings from Digital Archive
Posted by cprfan on Saturday, August 22, 2015 2:05 PM

For me, one of the things I want from the digital archive is the ability to print drawings. I have printed but noticed that the drawings are not to scale. Does anyone know what percentage I would have to print at to get a proper scale drawing?
