What are you? CIA! Sorry Elliot this is where I get off as Lisa is now on the other side breathing down my back and muttering something about "clean up the kitchen".

Sorry Ben Elliot gets carried away from time to time and drags me down with him!

There are books out there which appraise Lionel gear. You'ld be surprised at some of the prices and dismayed by others.

Regards
Fergie

Ben, every piece is different. It is based on supply and demand for each piece, as well as the condition of the piece itself. There entire books devoted to this subject, they are called price guides. What you need to know to look up an item is the number of the item. Numbers are almost always found in the side of the piece, usually 4 digits. If you want to email me the numbers I can give you the answers.[:)]

You would be better to post this on the Classic Trains Forum. Big Boy 4005 is into O scale three rail. You could contact him direct through e-mail.

Does Anyone know how much the old O scale Lionels from the 60s are worth?

How much per engine?

Per Car?

What about condition?

Thanx Benjamin R.[:D]
