Serial Interface to a Computer
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, November 20, 2004 4:24 PM
In the past two years or so, MR had a series (3, I think) of articles describing hookups of switches/ signals and the like to a computer via serial interfaces.

Can anyone recall the MR issues that had these articles? Thanks

[#welcome] to the forum. What you may be thinking of is a system called CMRI, which stands for Computer Model Raliroad Interface. The system first came on the market back in the mid 80's. The most recent update was published in MR in the early part of this year. Here is a link to the developer's website.
