Suggestion: While you're working on your Rivarossi Heisler, check the side rods and make sure their screws are tight. A member of our local club had the side rods fall off after less than 10 feet of operation on a new Rivarossi Heisler because the screws had not been properly tightened, or had worked loose in shipment. The screw was so tiny it apparently fell into some scenery and couldn't be found. It took him over six months to locate a parts source that had replacement screws.

1. Remove the screw inside the smoke-stack.
2. Lift the front part of the boiler and disengage it from the cab. Tab into the cab roof near the top.
3. Lift the case cover on the tender deck and remove the screw underneath it.
4. Unfasten the screw that holds the front of the cab and remove body.
These instructions are for the old Rivarossi two-truck Heisler.

Hope this helps.
