Another similar [ I think ] product is soft grey putty strips, sold in rolls, at RV service and supply outlets. It is used a 'gasket' material when mounting windows to RV. You stick it to the flange of the window and when you place the window into the opening and screw it down, the stuff seals the gap perfectly, and actually extrudes a little bit along the edge and need trimming. We use this roll 'putty' for LOTS of things in the audio industry, mostly related to vibration mitigation. I think the RV putty is very similar to what AMI sells. At our local RV outlet this stuff comes in several different widths.

For HO scale, I used something like AMI roadbed which I think is the same thing. It is automotive AC duct tape ,it comes in 30' roll and has the same features and is cheaper.
Being old is when you didn't loose it, it's that you just can't remember where you put it.

I used it on an N scale layout for my son and did not like it, was too messy. either of the others would be fine though.

What are your thoughts? Thinking of either cork, AMI, or the woodland scenics.
Thanks!
