MEC 572 GP-7 shown in the as delivered color scheme or repainted in the same scheme in the late 1970s at the request of local railfans. This locomotive was preserved and still operational in main line service well into the 1980s (maybe longer)

As you can see I'm in the very earliest stages of building a mountain / tunnel. It will be my biggest no pun intended project so far and I'm looking forward to learning as I go. Why am I doing this now, because I needed an excuse not to weather track. Big Smile

Folks turned out to Union Station to tour the all-new Budd streamlined dome-observation car for the re-equipped Canadian. Canadian Pacific's premier transcontinental train. Vancouver counts as West Coast, eh?
