Posting Photos and Diagrams is a 2-Step Process
Posted by richhotrain on Friday, April 3, 2015 7:50 AM

I continue to feel frustrated when I repeatedly read posts in which a forum member expresses the inability to post a photo or diagram.

Without going through the process itself, it requires two steps to accomplish this task (1) copy the photo or diagram to a third party server such as Photobucket and (2) paste the link from the third party server to the appropriate image box in this forum.

So, stated in its simplest terms, it is a copy and paste, 2-step process.  Copy the image to a third party server (e.g., Photobucket) and and then paste the third party server link to the forum image box.

Now, I realize that, in reality, it is not that simple since each of the two steps requires some additional actions to complete.  But, I encourage newbies to this process to try to complete the first step before stating something like "I don't know how to post my photo". If you cannot complete the first step, there is no point in trying to explain how to complete the second step.
