MRC syncronized sound decoders.

I have recently bought two of these has any one else?
I have one in a GP-30, and a Dash 8. They are a B!#@% to install. They dont sound that bad to me but it is the first sounds on my layout since I put the hammer away, lol! They are only $60 I dont think that is too salty
