For anyone curious about SP&S challengers there was 8
Z-6: 900-905

#903 & 904 were sold in late 1937 to the GN as 4000 & 4001, before being resold to the SP&S in 1945(4001) and 1950(4000).

Z-8: 910-911
Delivered in 1944

All 8 were scrapped in 1960, the last revenue and steam run on SP&S tracks was June of 1956 by 910.

SP&S modeler, 1960's give or take a decade or two for some equipment.

Only a "rivit counter" would notice that there are rivets on a UP 4-6-6-4 tender, while the Z-8's sported welded-side tenders.

I would very disagree that that goes into rivet counting.  That's difference between right and wrong model.  Its akin to a modern welded side covered hopper having riveted sides and saying "only a rivet counter would care."  It would look wrong.
