Thank you for the replies.

My computer savy son son stopped by.  Seems our grandson, not his son, who was visiting this weekend, had hooked onto something while he was using this.  My son unhooked it somehow and all seems back to normal.  (The kid is much more savy than I and I found out after the "fix" was made that he has gotten in trouble at home on the computer.)  GUESS WHAT?  Uncle is going to fix it so he can't do that again.

For some reason of the sites I had gone to today, it only effected this one.

Like I said, I'm not very understanding of computers.  Didn't expect local help so soon, as he had been out of town.

Thanks again,

Richard

A few weeks ago I was having e-mail problems. After taliking with my ESP provider for two hours with no results the problem was solved by restarting my computer.

Give it a try but I doubt if you'll have such luck.

Browser update? Something is blocking or misinterpreting the style sheet for the page so you are getting generic stuff. I just tried with both IE11 and Chrome and the Sites and Resources dropdowns are working fine in either browser. When things are working wierd, first thing I would do is run a malware scan, Malwarebytes is a good program.

Hmmm.  Doesn't do that to me.  Are you using a tablet or something else on which you can zoom the screen?

A New (to me) Web Page Problems
Posted by cowman on Sunday, March 15, 2015 12:08 PM

Along with other problems discussed in another thread recently, I just found a  couple of new problems.  Since I haven't gone to RESOURCES lately, can't exactly say when it started.

When I try to go to any of the small gray words in the top right corner, they drop down their lists, but the list drops behind the black bar making a couple of items not visible.  When I try to scroll down to click on one of them, they disappear before I get there.

Also, when I go to Layout section of the forums, the avatars are huge and the set up much different.  However, when I go to the thread itself, all appears normal.

The second isn't as much of a bother as the first, as it blocks me from going to the lists given there.

I'm not much of a compter guy, so don't be afraid to get real basic.

Thanks for the ideas,

Richard
