Doesn't the display on the throttle give you the voltage of the battery when you plug it in or unplug it like the Digitrax throttles do?

Check your batteries!

While operating my switching layout with my NCE Cab06 radio throttle, I noticed the reaction time was getting longer. It didn't dawn on me to check the batteries. Short story a loco on a side track ran away, no control. It was not the loco I was using. Lucky I was close to the main switch and shut the system off. To my knowlege, there is no warning on the display for low battery.
