This product was highly recommended for track cleaning in a couple of recent threads, but my local Advance Auto Parts outlet never heard of it. Can anyone suggest a likely retail source, preferably in the Washington, DC/Northern Virginia area, or failing that, provide the name and Web address of the manufacturer?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Try calling Fairfax Auto Parts. They have half a dozen or so locations, so probably one near you. I'm not promising anything, but I find them to be more knowledgeable and better stocked on these types of items than Advance.

The full name of the product is Nevr-Dull Magic Wadding Polish. It comes in a can about the size of a Planter's Peanuts can. Sorry I can't provide a more definitive answer because it's at the club and I'm at home. You might also check your local Wal-mart, K-mart, or other stores that carry automotive products.

I found the Nevr Dull at the local Wal Mart in a Milwaukee suburb located in the automotive section. I'm still cleaning the tracks fairly often, but the dirt comes off very easily. I have a place on the layout (near a window) I call "oxidation alley" since it collects that black film so often. Even running trains daily doesn't help.
