Very sad to see another excellent shop gone.  Getting very difficult to find someone trustworthy to paint engines, espicaly brass engines.  Its quickly becoming a lost art form!  Mike

Sad to see them close. I had them do 2 local short lines for me, and was more than pleased with their work. I have been thinking about having another one done, but so far I haven't been able to find any good color photos to use as an example.

If you are refering to Trains Emporium in Sparks Nevada.

This place is somewhat local to me. I live about an hour from Reno/Sparks. All indicators say they are closed. No more web site. Phone disconnected and BBB says they're closed. I was there once about 2 years ago. They had a very tiny store front and a nice well equipped paint shop in the back. They were a Walthers dealer and I was planning on giving them some business real soon when I start commuting to work in Reno in a couple of weeks.

Well...I guess not.
