Just last month I ordered a set of decals from Streamstyle, and received them about 3 wks later. Very satisfied with the response.

Rule 3: Illuminating discussion of prototype history, equipment and operating practices is always welcome, but in the event of visitor-perceived anacronisms, detail descrepancies or operating errors, consult RULE 1!

I just received a letter from the California Attorney General's office with an explanation that my case has been resolved.  As a resident of Michigan, I must say how impressed I am with California that they would help me resolve what is in comparison to the many other issues they face a small matter.  I can only hope Michigan would treat other non-residents as well.

Streamstyle Graphics finally came through after more then a year. As it turned out I didn't have to contact anyone to persuade him. I received an email that said he had someone else take over who didn't preform.Todd said he took the business back and will fulfill all of the current orders and then he quits.

A few days ago the decals I ordered from Streamstyle Graphics arrived.  No apology, no explanation, accompanied the decals.  Frankly, a customer should not have to write to the California Attorney General's office to motivate a dealer to deliver purchased goods.  I am glad I got the decals.  They are very well done. However, I would not recommend ordering from this person as his business practices leave much to be desired.

Has anyone else had trouble ordering from Streamstyle Graphics at http://streamstylegraphics.com/shop/?  I ordered over $50.00 worth of Milwaukee Road decals from this website back in August 2014 and have yet to receive them.  I have tried three emails to the owner of this website and received no reply.  This company offers some very interesting decals for the Milwaukee Road, but I fear it is not to be trusted.
Me too Ordered NYO&W in January. Have stopped payment on check. Bad site and hurts the hobby. William, Lancaster PA

While I sympathize with small business men and women who work and run their business on the weekend, I am sure that we all agree that this situation is still not an excuse for horrible customer service.  I strongly urge anyone who has had difficulty with Mr. Brinkmeier to file a complaint with the California Attorney General's office at http://oag.ca.gov/contact/consumer-complaint-against-business-or-company.

I just received a letter from the California Attorney General's office stating that they appreciate bringing this to their attention, that they will write to Mr. Brinkmeier requesting a response, and that they hope to establish communication between Mr. Brinkmeier and myself.  The more people who complain, the more likely action will be taken.

I too have ordered from Todd Brinkmeier/Streamstyle Graphics and received roof letter boards but no decals. I've written emails to him and actually received two replies. My orders were placed in January of 2014. Todd told me that it's a weekend business if he can get to it. He also blamed his paper supplier for any delays but said that his usual turn-around time was two weeks. For me it has been over a year now and no decals. I think the attorney general is a good idea.

Apparently, others have had trouble ordering from Streamstyle Graphics, see the discussion at http://cs.trains.com/mrr/f/13/t/218196.aspx.  I have waited a couple more weeks for a reply from Mr. Todd Brinkmeier, the owner of Streamstyle Graphics, from the letter I wrote him and have received nothing.  I will be taking farrellaa advice and file a complaint with the California Attorney General at http://oag.ca.gov/contact/consumer-complaint-against-business-or-company.  If you too have had a bad dealing with this company, then I suggest you also file a complaint.  Mr. Todd Brinkmeier’s business ethics leave much to be desired.  Too bad, it looked like he had great decals.

I have had a couple of bad experiences with fraud on the internet, which is what this is if you get no response after multiple contacts. I contacted the Attorney General's office of internet fraud in the state of the seller and got results in one of the cases, the second one never resolved, but this is a more 'threatning' way to contact the seller and get their attention. I hope you don't have to resort to this but it is a way to find out if the company is legitimate or not.

I placed an order and sent a check in October.  The order hasn't been filled and the check remains uncashed.

I have placed an order on their website and paid by Paypal. I waited 3 months for my order has not arrived, so I placed a phone call and left a message. After 2 weeks I placed another phone call and left another message. aAnother week went by and still no response. I therefore made contact with Paypal and explained my ordeal to them on how this company has a website and collects money from orders placed and does not fulfill its obligations. I requested that a credit be made to my account, in which they did.

In my opnion, this company is to good to be true.

Have you tried calling?  Emails get lost due to spam filters....

Your are right Jim that emails can be trapped by spam filters.  That is why I used the Contact Us feature at the Streamstyle Graphics website. I have also written a physical letter that I will drop off tomorrow.  I have a mild phobia about using the telephone, silly I know, someday I will get therapy for it.
