Looking for local help
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 1:36 PM
I've been tying to find N-Scale modelers in Council Bluffs, IA (Omaha, NE metro) area. The two local clubs are into HO and I am trying to get back into N. I've got a small Layout started (benchwork & cork installed), but I need some mentoring on going to trackwork. the local clubs have been lacking in support ("I have to become a member first, then MAYBE someone would be willing to help"). The trouble is that they meet at times I am not available (I take night classes at Bellevue, and I would have to be present to find help). My funding is limited (club membership or layout). I do not do N-Trak. I'm hoping someone teach me more about operations (maybe visit their layout during a session). Is their anyone in Omaha area willing to help? Maybe even start a N Goup?
