Good job on the road, Rob. It's hard to see where it meets the backdrop.

Show me another situation where a road meets the track.

Here is the road meeting and crossing the track in Flatrock, at night.

Show me some inexpensive flatcar loads you made.

These logs were made from large weeds in a nearby field. Yes they are big, like 5ft tall weeds. LOL

Lets see some more flat car loads.

I've been away from the forums for a while again but I've been working on the layout just the same. I found some LS110's online and have them hooked up with Ideal power plugs. there is also a programmer line fitted with a power plug so I can disconnect each stationary decoder and plug in the programmer line to change programing at any time. Next I want to install lighting around the layout....

I'm not sure how the last two posts relate.., the road crossing signals must have been a present?  And neither requested anything so let's go back again and ask for a present that you received, a Christmas or birthday present or other.

OK, last request was: Show me something you got as a gift, Birthday, Christmas, or simply because your a sweet thang...

My FIL gave me a set of old Pocher Overland Passenger Cars to get me back interested in the hobby about 40 years ago.  They were old when he gave them to me.  Looked like this before I fixed them up:

Today they are part of the SLOW Milk Run Train.

Show me something you fixed up and made new.

It would seem that rural scenes are in short supply these days, so... let's go downtown!

It has been over a day and we are getting low on the list, so show me a modern branch/short line.

If no one has that, then a proto-lanced or freelanced line will do.
