It looks like the SDMR Museum and the SDMR Association want to use my little video for fund raising and promotion. I give them the video to use as they see fit. I hope it helps...I hope the video goes "railroad viral". I think that would definately help.
I'm proud and honored to be a part of this great institution's history.

Thanks again.
My Christmas wish is that it generates some new interest in the hobby, especially the younger generations. I want it to inspire, and create different ideas for enjoying this hobby.
The video part was not as expensive as one may think. I did it with a $700 camcorder and less than $200 in video software, and something like it could be done, including green/blue screen effects, with a less expensive camera. The digital quality and performance of the technology is amazing when watching the raw video file (300mb) on an HD wide screen tv, with no internet streaming to get in the way. I wish everybody could see it like that, but the youtube, internet and computer thingys screw with it.
The models, camera cars/gimbals, layouts and soundtrack/music are another story.
BATMAN Enjoyed it, nice job. If you do another one, you could make it an ad with this music.

Anybody here old enough to remember The Seekers? I think they just showed up again.

That was an enjoyable video to watch as I plunked down, tired after the day's work. The lit cars at night look cozy. Dan
What an inspiration! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, everybody. I'm happy that you enjoyed. That's what it is all about.
Brent - too funny! I haven't heard that for decades. Thanks for the chuckles.

Very well done video. I was getting a little envious of the scenery there until I read that it was shot on a club layout. Heck, I'm still envious!

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!

Nice camera work! And, of course, the San Diego layout is superb. It has been many years since I visited but I still remember it.
My first full featured model railroad music video. Happy Holidays, everybody.
