The expensive part makes sense. My uncle made a point of buying expensive items, then making sure everyone knew what he paid for them. I may mock up a little layout around the turntable to see if it will integrate into my Peco-based layout. Thanks for the info, Ulrich!

Richard,
the Fleischmann TT is actually a pretty good and reliable (and very expensive) product. The one and only drawback is that it is designed for the Fleischmann track with the plastic roadbed cast on. To my knowledge, it is the only available N scale TT in my neck of the woods, so joining track of other brands is most likely possible.
I just inherited a couple of additional items from my uncle. (Sorry, no free stuff this time.) One of the items is a Fleischman Turntable (9152 C). Does anyone have any experience with one of these? Before I try and figure if and how to integrate the turntable, I want to know if it is worth it. Any thoughts?
