Happy Thanksgiving to Peter (I think that may be an ostrich, not a turkeyWink on that lift, though, but I hear they're good eating, too), everyone else who makes these forums such a great place to hang out and learn from each other, and to our hobby -- the world's greatest!

Looking at the size of Petes bird I thought that the powers that be may have gotten further down the path of de extinction of the Giant Moa than just the discussion stage, though it’s not so much the size of the bird, but the thought of the peeling all the onions for the stuffing that’s somewhat eye watering.Crying
Apart from the US embassy putting on Thanksgiving dinner for the less fortunate in its area, Thanksgiving is not celebrated down here but that’s no reason not to wish all of you who do, regardless of the adverse weather in some parts of the US, a Happy Thanksgiving.Drinks Cake

Happy Thanksgiving

The forklift looks like the Kibri Kallmar container lift minus the container.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING USA!

Hope you have a good meal today as we are having one with all the fixin's.

What is all the fixin's you ask? Turkey, gibblet dressing, giblet gravy, spaghetti squash {with melted clarified Irish butter and herbs}, Butternut squash {with butter and brown sugar},homemade whole berry cranberry sauce, corn, smashed potatoes{with sour cream, chives, milk, butter}, and biscuits with butter and "apple butter spread". Dessert will be Pumpkin pie and Key lime pie!

Lets remember to give THANKS for such a bounty of a meal!

Well, Time for Macy's TG parade to start and time to start the turkey!

Who makes/made the large forklift ?

My recollection was purchasing the Kalmar fork lift kit from Walthers, but it's marked Kibri underneath.  Came with apparatus to mount on the forks for lifting containers.

Have a good Turkey Day,  Peter

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Crusty heavy snow in New England. Good workout before eating. No need to go to Snap Fitness today. No bicycle riding on the rail trails for a while.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

We Canucks should take a page from our American friends and celebrate Thanksgiving later in the year when the weather will almost always keep the relative's at bay.

But there is no holding back Great Grandpa Fowler. Nothing will keep him from that delicious turkey and stuffing.

My turkey day consisted of a blocked main sewer line this am, trying to fix it myself, then saying 'uncle' I and calling in the pros. Two tries from two different cleanouts but they got it done.

We went out for dinner tonight. I carumba!

   Have fun with your trains
