Anyone ever deal with MAX Model Trains
Posted by Fergmiester on Friday, November 5, 2004 9:00 PM
I was going through MR Dec. and came across Max Model Trains Ad. Has anyone dealt with these guys? Some of their BLI specials look good and I'm in the market for a new Steam Engine.

Any and all help is always appreciated

Regards
Fergie

No, I haven't, but MR has standards that advertisers are expected to adhere to, so if you have a problem with them you can always complain to the MR staff and get some help in resolving your complaint. I believe that MAX Models has been advertising for over one year now in MR, and I have seen no comments, derogatory or otherwise, about that company anywhere on this forum. If people have been complaining to MR, I don't think their advertising would still be accepted.

Yes! I have had good dealings with Mike Womak at Max trains. I have bought 2 Great Northern BLI E-7's from him and have an NW-2 switcher on order. Now if BLI could just make good on their advertised delivery prophesys.

I also have had good dealings with Mike Womak. While I had to wait seven months to get my J1, my credit card was not charged until it was shipped and I was also given an e-mail alert to make sure someone was at the house to accept the delivery.

Yeah, Mike and the guys at MAX Model Trains are great! Mike will personally answer email, and usually responds very quickly. I highly recommend them.
