I did make it to the show on Sunday. It was a nice show and they had a good turnout while I was there (between 10:30-11:30am). I agree they could get a lot better turnout with a little advertising or promotion. If I had not seen the show listed here, I would not have known about it. How many shows a year do they do?

Mike
I did not make it ti the show on Sunday. I never seem to know when the show is. I am sure there are a lot of other people out there in the same boat. I will contact Carl and find out when next years show is. I am scheduled to be at the Syracuse show next year and from what I hear these two shows conflict with each other. If it does not I will probably get a table to sell there. I will be goint to the show in Batavia this sunday though.

That is the guy that sets up the show, I have been after him to advertise it in Model Railroader, but with his busy work scedule, he forgets to do it. I think it would bring in some fresh dealers and more buyers. Yes it was a great show, despite the nice weather in Erie on Sunday. You should see it when it snows or rains all day, you can hardly walk down the isles. The spring show is one of the first Sundays in March next year. Cheers Mike

Do you know who the organizer of this show is. I have tried to find information on this show for several years now and always seem to find out about it after it is done. I would like to contact someone there about setting up a table as I am a manufacturer/vendor. I am from Allegany, NY

Doug, I was thinking about that AFTER I send the message. Oh Well you can use the end part of the direction Just ignore the 86/90 part. Maybe I will see you there. I doubt it because there will be alot of people there. You will be just another face in the crowd. Nothing against you but that is the way it is.

Doug, I am from Jamestown NY too. I take 86 West to 90 west to 79 North to 20 West to 832 North to route 5 west down about a block and it is at the Y in the road . Waldamere is the big amusement park in the area. Just follow the crowd. Landmarks are as follows 86 90 79 are interstate roads 20 and 832 are state roads. Route 832 and 5 intersection has a cemetary on your left and two resturants on the right and left corners one is a nascar type and the other is called Choo Choo Charlie's. Turnoff into Rainbow Garden/Waldamere is between two trailer parks. Any Questions I am in the Jamestown Phone book. The show is alot like a yard sale some times good sometime not so good. But I always go and enjoy myself. The guy with the big modular group are mostly from Jamestown and Erie area.

Can anyone be a little more specific about an address for this show. I am new to the area (Jamestown) and I would like to drive up and take in the show. Do you know if there will be any G scale there for sale?
Thanks in advance,
Doug

I will be there, selling some of my excess stuff, and running my Marklin Digital layout using the new mobile controler. The layout is not as far along as I wanted to get it this year as the main trains and track for the layout just arrived today from Germany. By the spring show in Feb it will all be mounted on a hollow core interior door, 36" x 72" layout. But for now it will just be laid right on the show table, and be using my ceramic holiday buildings. But the finaly version will have proper a proper German village all decked out for the holidays. The locomotive on the layout showcases the latest in Marklin tech. C-Sine Brushless motor, this motor turns the previous style of motors upside down! The locomotive also has full digital sound. I will have the Marklin Catalog there for browsing and to read about the new C-Sine motor. While I dont have the means to start selling Marklin on my own yet, I can direct buyers to several in state or online dealers that can get Marklin trains at substantial discounts! See you all there. Mike

woohoo. thanks for posting this i have been calling and searching for the time and date of this show for the past few weeks. i was told that it was still at Rainbow gardens but none of the hobby shops here new the true date or time. they just knew it was coming up for the first or second week of nov.
good thing i still have a few $ left to spend on sun. now i can hopefully start replacing the $1000 + worth of locos that were stolen.
