PICTURES! Pictures is simple.

LION puts pictures on the server of him, and then uses the photo icon above to insert that URL into the message.

Simple. If not server you have, someone sele's server you must use. They should be able to give you the URL that you need to install in the box.

And that is the tale of my LEOPARD

You have to place the photo on a third party server such as Photobucket.  Then copy the link and paste that link into your post uing the Insert/Edit Image icon.

1. Sign up for Photobucket, or a similar host.

2. Transfer your photo's to Photobucket. (follow their directions)

3. On photobucket, click on photo that you have uploaded to photobucket, that you would like to share.

4. Click on share to other services icon.

5. Click on IMG icon ( it will say copied)

6. Right click on your post on the forum and hit paste.

7. Hit space bar.

8. You are done.

It's just that easy. See!

On this forum, there are always two possibilities.

One, the forum member attempting to post the photo is doing it wrong.

Two, depending upon the forum member's operating system, browser, and security software, he may be attempting to post the photo correctly, but the forum software is not working properly with the forum member's computer configuration.

Hey

The only way mine works, using photobucket, Internet explorer and windows 7 is if I enlarge the photo in my photobucket libriary, copy and paste in the Model railroad thread. But the if you want to see the pictur in it's full width you have to click on it.

Form albums at Photo Bucket. It can become difficult to find a photo after a while and don't move a photo into a different album.

Yeah, Rich. I just wanted to sort out a bunch of py photos into different albums and then the warning came up that ALL the links would be lost! Shucks...

I wanted to get organized and now it will be a pain. I just signed up for Photobucket Pro and I plan to load hundreds of more photos and I'll make the new albums now but all the original photos will stay where they are for now!

I wish I had heeded your advice sooner! Ed

Really not a big deal. I left the photos were they where and made new albums when I first started off.

Good idea! I'll just copy the photos into the new albums and leave the originals where they are...Thanks.
