I would get an Atlas C30-7 or U33/36C from Trainworld or other low cost out let, and use its' whole chassis.

As I recall, the Bachmann E60CP uses a drive truck that has an incorrect GE-style truck.
Walthers used to sell a model by a company called American GK of the E60 that was powered by an Athearn-based drive.
You could probably make something similar using an Athearn six-axle GE diesel chassis and drive, which would be a vast improvement over the Bachmann power truck.

I want to repower my Bachmann GE E60 in HO scale. Has anyone done this job and can give me some help how to do this? which motor is good? Thanks for you help, Micha
