Anyone ever ordered from Discount Trains Online ?

Yes. I have never had any problems with them. They are on the slow side to ship, but better than most. You can still figure 2-5 working days before shipping. The fastest shippers that I have found are the on-line LHS's that give Internet discounts. Go to http://www.railserve.com/ and you can find the closest Hobby Shop.

I've ordered from Discount Trains Online a couple of times. My experience with them has always been good. They tell you the estimated time until shipment on each item you order. Since they ship everything at once, the slowest item determines your ship date. I have always received my goods within the time indicated.

The only negative I can think of is many times the website has no picture of the product and the description is very brief. I always go to the manufacturer's web-site and compare stock numbers so I know for sure that I am getting what I want.

Yep, me too! I just placed another order with them Friday for a bit over $100. Mostly items from their clearance list. They always let me know if everything is available, what day it is to ship out, and then they send another e-mail on shipping day. Their flat $6.95 shipping works well also.
