I've heard one had several shelf layout track plans.

Does anyone know which year this was?

I think that was 2003--lots of stuff you can fit in a 1'x3' space!

Jetrock - have you ever posted pictures of your layout, etc.? You always seem to appear in the topics I'm interested in - small shelf layouts, trolley layouts, etc.

I haven't done model railroading since I was a kid, and hope to get back into it soon. I'll be going small for sure. Small & detailed is my plan.

i.e. I can start up a project, then get side tracked for 6 months, then come back to it - all the while only taking up a small corner of a room or the garage, etc.

They really had 1' x 3' stuff in MRP in 2003? That's awesome. I'll definately be ordering that issue.
