I was in Altoona today and grabbed some quick photos! I seen a possible modeling project engine Q#1. A Conrail test engine, looks cool, wondering if other roads have engines like this. Here are a couple of the photos!

Great Pics, csxmu! That's the first time I've seen a pic of "Q-1". It started life as an Erie Lackawanna SD45 #3632, which was one painted as one of their Bicentennial units. It wound up in the shape it's in courtesy of Conrail (don't get me started).

Good pics. A couple of friends of mine got nasty looks from NS people when they tried taking photos around there. areibel, thanks for the link. Breaks your heart, doesn`t it?
