AAA Precision Turntables
Posted by dickiee on Sunday, October 24, 2004 5:51 PM
I am looking for any comments or critiques of AAA Precision Turntables. Would like to know if anyone has purchased their products and how they like them. Did they work as well as expected for the price or were you disappointed? I am trying to wait for the Walthers new 135' turntable that was supposed to be out last spring...they have moved the "expected" date (again) to Jan. 05.
Thanks
Richard
Just love to watch the trains run.

Good Afternoon Dickiee:

I'm about 90% of the way trough the completion of a CMR TT. I'm very pleased with this unit and may buy a second one. The first is a 105' and the second will be a 90' to replace the Walthers that I have already but not built. If the 105' works as go as it looks, I'll order the second one.

Have a blessed day and remember SANTA FE ALL THE WAY

On my old PRR layout I used a Heljan(Concor) turntable and sold it when I dismantled the layout. I now have a Walthers 90' and wish I would have kept the Heljan one. No real reason I guess I just don't care for this one. Most likely this will be gone and I hope to return to a Heljan model. I would NEVER used an Atlas turntable. They just do not look nice.
