The Cochise & Western Model Railroad Club in Sierra Vista has oodles and oodles of German products that were given to us by a modeler who intended to model the Swiss Railways, even to the point of electrification, in HO scale. We even have a Marklin DCC System among the items that we have been unable to even give away because no one around here models European rails. If you're interested and willing to pay shipping costs, contact Walter Prill at sanwalbv@yahoo.com. He's our club VP.

One of the hobby shops in my area recently started carrying "Continental Modeler" magazine. It's published in England (By the company that makes Peco track) Its a great resourse on non-British prototype modeling and modeling products (Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and even the Americas.

Heres their web site.

http://www.peco-uk.com/cm/cm_home.htm

For British modeling they publish "Model Railways".

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.

If I were you,I'd go check out the books that your library would have on these countries, including Italy.I know that in Germany, there is ALOT of beautiful scenery, consisting of trees, hills rivers, and the like.Best of fun and enjoyment to you.[:)]

[?]I am in the planning stage of a full basement HO layout, and would like to model Germany, Italy, and France. Each would be about 4 X 5. Looking for building and scenery for Italy. Any suggestions on these would be appreciated[:)]
